This spell I wrote to place a protection spell on a necklace I always wear, and which helps me with my magic. It involves four candles, and a basin of clear water. The candles must be the colors blue, green, lavender, and red.

You place the blue candle pointed North; the green candle East; the lavender one is South; and the red one is West. Each of these stand for the elements. Water, Earth, Wind, and Fire, respectively.

This spell is used to protect charms and enhance power in pendents. Also to purify items.

Dangling the pendent, you allow it to swing through the flame, starting at whatever candle (I always start with the North one), saying:

"Cut the Flame and let Water bless thee
Cut the Flame and let Earth bless thee
Cut the Flame and let Wind bless thee
Cut the Flame and let Fire bless thee"

Once the pendent turns a black from the flames, you dip it in the water basin, saying:

"With fire, have I blessed thee
With water, do I purify thee
The Spirits, let them guide me"

Repeat that until the ashes wash away into the water. Ever since I did that, I haven't taken this necklace off and its always given me good luck, protection, and a new awareness of my surroundings.
