The Differences of Night and Day...

I thought it would be interesting to have some Pictures showing the differences in using just flash and using the night setting on your digital camera if equipped. So here are a couple of examples..

Some do not use the night setting because of the longer exposure times.. which can cause false positives in your photos..

These images below one is done with regular flash and the other using the night setting. you can clearly see that the regular image.. just the close areas were illuminated by the flash.. The second picture however you can clearly see farther off into the distance.. The second picture is more true to what the lighting was actually like.. rather then the first with the regular flash. For me personally i like to use both settings.. to have something to compare to when viewing the pictures that i have taken. each has a positive and a negative. just depends on what your going for. Just remember. with the night setting. you do have alot higher chance of getting something that looks great but is actually just a bug in flight.
