"reality dream"

I saw you in a dream lastnight
tall dark and handsome you were
standing tall as you never did before

I saw your life in my dream
the little ones you have had
the little ones you didn't dare share about.

I stand shocked in my dream for the serine setting in which you live your life
The wealth you married into seemed to suit you so well
Why the need to hide from which is what you are is what amazes me.
To have lie upon lie only shows you have reason to hide such a life
why hide what you truly are?
you only have more to lose in a lie then would with the truth.
go now, say goodbye
live within your castle that will slowly crumble around you.
eventually all you have piled up upon you will begin to get heavier and heavier to bear.
the words your quick with, will become confusing to you and you will crack.
sorry but then your castle walls will offer you no more protection.
so go on run and hide as you normally do.. yet this time there is no real escape.

"Tell me"

I see in a tiny moment him. him in the distance I see his silloete.
It brings a smile to my face
just the thought of maybe he is thinking of me as I am of him.
Dare I imagine what it would be like.
beg i do the stars to hear the words i long to hear.
maybe one day
it is said you can't move the moon but see the light it shines down upon you.
Upon him in this moment again I smile.
Thinking of what could be. What only an imaginiation canbring
but again I smile.
no matter what little a light I get to see it still shines bright enough to lite the sky much like the full moon does on this dark night
Ii watch him move about in the darkness.
Tell me stars he is thinking of me. Tell me what he keeps so quiet inside him
what is it inside you I wonder.
as I watch you move in the darkness
stars tell me
tell me.

Fall Into Depravity

By Skiathuros98

Fall into depravity
of the wormhole in my mind.
Drain your mind in mine.
Drink from the well of deceit.
Fall into snares of the python
into oblivious bloodshed.
Twas your own
Deprived of life you'll soon be mine.
Barter to me,
your soul so meek.
Fall into the depravity of the wormhole in my mind.
Throw yourself mercilessly at the feet of the whore.
So utterly worthless,
so utterly frail.
Fall,
Fall,
Fall to your doom.
Your failure,
my pleasure.
Throw yourself hopelessly at the foot of Hades,
my master.
Drink from the wine of deceit, despair and hatred.
Despair and failure my wine.
Death and destruction my bed.
Bones of the dead saints dig deep into my flesh.
They grave my heir.
Death's lust my snare.
The chained bound souls do point the finger and snicker at my demise.
Fall into the depravity of the wormhole in my mind.

The Rose

Blond, handsome, tall, blue eyes
Strong and proud in his uniformed guise
Proud to defend the “Fatherland” and Rhine
Walking back from the village
In the bright Bavarian sunshine
To his unit not far away
A smile in his heart
A girl on the path not far ahead
Standing near the old castle tower

“Guten morgen! A beautiful day.”
They speak their names, so much to say
An hour seems a minute on this day
“I must go.” he says. “Will I see you again?”
“I will be here tomorrow at ten.”
She gave him a rose from the bush nearby
They said auf wiedersehen, goodbye
They meet again, and again, and again
Giving themselves to each other in time

One day something new is on her dress
A star on her shoulder
To show her pride, they told her,
In being a Jew
A sign of unspoken foreboding, they knew.
“It does not change us.” they said.
“We will always be together.” they said.
We will meet here in secret
You will know I am here
When the rose is at the tower door
And the candle is in the window there.

They came in the night to take her away
To a place where she’d be happy, they’d say
He came the next day and there was the light
The rose was there, but the girl not in sight
He waited, and waited, and waited more
Until there was nothing but to go in the door
And the soldier was never seen again.

It is late evening, summer 1961
I walk from the village to the old castle door
I see a candle in the window above
As I get closer I meet an old man there
Tall and handsome his blue eyes show despair
“I’m waiting for her” is the first thing I hear
As he points to the castle door
I looked and a beautiful rose is there on the floor
I looked up and the candle light no longer shone
I turn to speak and the old man is gone
Was I dreaming? I rub my eyes
I turn back to the castle door
And there at the entrance sits the forlorn rose
Now clearly long dead on the floor

I have often seen a light in the tower
And I thought I heard boots on the stairs
I never saw the old man again
But always the rose is there.

The last four lines of the poem are true. When I was living in Berlin I heard from those who had been there longer that they had seen strange things at the tower which was on Templehof, the old airfield in Berlin. The stories I heard were that a German soldier was in love with a local girl and they used to meet at this tower. One day she disappeared and the next day he was also gone and never seen again. The story is what I imagine could have happened. I hope you like it.

Emptiness In Mind

I sit with worry and emptiness in mind..
have you forgotten me when i need you most
or is this the reason why i need you so much
why does the darkness seem so cold
so empty
so far away is my soul
the part of me that makes me shine
makes me whole
keeps me alive
lost
hidden from me
i try and try to see
what's keeping me so empty inside
that part of me
that part that shines
i fear it's gone
lost again
gone again
so i mourn with sadness inside
to never ever really shine
